Story

Expocast is globally recognised as a leader in recruitment excellence for the exhibition and events industry.

Since 2020, we’ve identified and nurtured the right talent into award-winning event businesses, and have contributed to progressing industry conversations from pandemic survival and recovery, to DEI, and HR best practices.

We have have established strategic partnerships with the Association of Event Organisers, Benchmark Collective, and The Ops Nest, and have delivered experiences and content for industry institutions including our Speed Matchmaking for UFI European Conference and Global Congress, Talent workshops for AEO Conference, in-person and virtual presentations and panels for UFI, International Confex, ESSA, IFES, #EventProfs With Talent, Career Roadmap Webinar Series and The Big Fat Recruitment Debate and more.

We’ve worked with businesses of all shapes and sizes from start-ups to the AMR Top 20, from exhibition organisers to SaaS event technology suppliers, and across five continents.

We are active members of industry trade bodies, continuing to champion causes and initiatives that resonate with us. Through our ESSA membership and official partnership with AEO, we sit on working groups for HR, DEI and Future Focus and Development Boards. We are members of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, to elevate recruitment best practices in the event industry.

Mission

To elevate the global events industry to its full potential. We believe events can shape the world in which we live, through the direct experiences they deliver, and the influence they have over every single sector on the planet.

Through our services, we provide event companies and professionals the strategies, resources and direction to build and retain world-leading teams, so that they can be essential, innovative, and pioneers within their respective sectors.

Our unique strategies are weaved into our direct recruitment services, ensuring that they have a positive impact on the hiring outcomes, and we teach these strategies through content and workshops to maximise the benefits beyond our own capacity. We partner with other industry change-makers and associations to incorporate every aspect of progressive societal topics into our delivery, creating a safer, more joyful industry for the people who love it.

Vision

We want to see events driving change and facilitating the conversations that will solve the biggest challenges facing the world.

We believe events are the only sector that has the capability to influence and initiate global, multi-sector change for the benefit of all society. As events grow their influence, they can be the engine that drive initiatives such as tackling climate change, poverty and inequality.

We advocate for the UN Goals for Sustainable Development, and we work with the events community to ensure they have the right strategy and structure to contribute to solving the biggest problems that we face today.
